Moliendo Cacao con La Batan en el Valley de Ocobamba, PeruHere Abi Mael is shown stone grinding pure cacao(chocolate) paste with the traditional stone known as “La Batan” in Peru.  The back and forth rocking motion breaks apart the cacao butter from the cacao solids and liquify’s the cacao nibs into cacao paste…100% chocolate.  We then either create bricks of 100% chocolate for use later in making chocolate drinks or we add honey, pure sugarcane, or other sweeteners and flavors to make delicious artisanal chocolates!En este video Abi Mael esta moliendo pasta puro de cacao con el molino tradicional del Peru que se llama “La Batan”.  El motion hace separar la manteca de cacao del cacao solido y hace liquido los nibs de cacao.  Estamos haciendo pasta puro 100% cacao.  después, hacemos ladrillos de pasta puro de cacao para guardar por bebidas, o añadimos miel o otros endulzantes y sabores para hacer chocolates artesanales y ricos!
