Thyroid Boosting Foods:

*Ginger
*Turmeric
*Fish (most varieties) 
*Shell Fish (lobster, crab, shrimp)
*Seeds: flax, poppy, chia, hemp, sunflower, fennel

*Nuts: almonds, brazil nuts, cashews
*Nutritional yeast
*Bananas
*Coconut – including oil and homemade (NOT the store bought processed type) coconut milk
*Avocados
*Olive Oil
*Hemp Seed Oil
*Grass Fed Butter
*Chicken, Turkey
*Grass fed beef
*Sea Vegetables (Kelp, Nori, Spirulina, Chlorella)
*Beans and Lentils
*Leafy Greens

What to cut back on (but not necessary cut out completely, depending on your need):
*Carbs
*Gluten 
*Coffee

What to avoid completely:
*GMOs
*soy products - all of them in any form
*Fluoride – city water, toothpaste, Teflon pans. Fluoride is a proven thyroid inhibitor and the accumulative effect on the thyroid gland is very detrimental
*Raw Cruciferous Vegetables.  They are fine if well cooked, but the goitrogens in these raw veggies inhibits thyroid production – broccoli, kale, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, cabbage, et cetera
*Margarine, Shortening, and other fake fats.  Switch to real butter, lard, and coconut oil
*Fake sugars of any kind 
*Processed sugars.  Switch to coconut sugar, date sugar, raw honey, and/or at least organic evaporated cane sugar juice. There are many other natural choices to choose from as well.
*Highly processed, prepackaged foods.
*High Fructose Corn Syrup
*MSG
